173 days to go: That Blouse Again

I won't give up on the blouse.
Again it's not quite right but there is something about this blouse I like.
It looks better than the last time I wore it and I do have a few more ideas.
Maybe with jeans or a knee length black skirt.
What do you think?

Boots and dress - Dorothy Perkins

I like this. Love the gray dress and caramel boot combo. I'm looking forward to seeing your blouse in other outfits.

I love the tights with that blouse. Color match and different textures. It looks great.

I'm always hesitant to layer a short sleeve or sleeveless dress over another shirt, but it always looks good on you.

Love the grey dress, like the color of the blouse/tights. There is something about the blouse tho. Maybe the tie at the neck? It looks...oldfashioned? Can you tie it another way??

Much better - the high neckline of the blouse works better with this dress, plus the negative space in the pattern which falls over your bust (and makes it look bigger) is hidden by the dress.

I think it's darling layered under the grey dress and paired with the fuchsia tights. You have a knack for matching tights to your outfits. I don't know about you, but I am thrilled tights are in.

I finally posted the Michelle Obama Challenge. I hope you'll join us!

I kind of like this.... I love the layered look. I'd definitely keep this look in rotation.

I like the blouse with the dress! What about the blouse under a tailored jacket? With a long necklace to soften the 80s look of the bow?

I have a blouse like this too - I feel very 70s/80s in it. I've only worn it once.

Alison - thanks for that. I do love those boots.
Kristen - have a go. The only problem with layering can be bulk and as you are so slim I am sure it would suit you.
Darla - you may be right about the bow. I am thinking of chopping it off.
Thanks Imogen - as always you manage to explain exactly why things don't work. It makes forward wardrobe planning that bit easier.
Cat - I am looking forward to the challenge. It's a great idea.
Stacy - I will.
Sheila - I'd love to see what you do with yours.
