82 days to go:Remains Of The Day
I did it again.
After all your positive comments yesterday I rooted around in my throw-out pile and found this t-shirt.
I bought it in Gap in August 2005.
It was a lovely sunny afternoon.
I had spent the past week dressed in corporate suits working for a PR agency and hardly saw the daylight.
That afternoon I finished the project and celebrated with a mini shopping spree.
This is all that remains of the day.
I was going to throw it out because the neckline was too high.
Now (thanks to my scissors) it's not!
If anyone had any t-shirt refashioning ideas please email me your pictures and I will post a special feature next week.

I wore
Sparkly Shoes - Clarks
Trousers - M & Co
T- shirt - Gap
Cardigan - Principles
Scarf - Next
Sunglasses - Tesco

You are ingenious! Those colours are wonderful on you. And I really like your new poses!
Great job Jane
I like how you paired it with your trousers! But I know me- and because the tee is a little shorter in length I would have to put a tank or cami underneath to give it the illusion of being longer-but that's just my hang-up ;)
The scarf sure ties the colors all together.

(PS - in case you missed it, I left a link to my arted up shirt in the comments section of your last post)
Love it. I have several shirts that need some help.
You are getting so clever with those scissors. Be warned - once you start, it's impossible to stop LOL.
I got a book for Christmas called 'New from Old' - How to transform and customize you clothes by Jayne Emerson. There is a section on changing necklines and the t-shirt transformations are lovely.
Personally, I'm into dyeing!!! I buy a piece that is the right shape for me even if it's the wrong colour, then I dye it. The best material to take dye is cotton, but I've dyed everything including shoes!!!
Have fun with those scissors.
Hx
Another excellent creation of yours, Jane! I do not dare to use scissors on my clothes. I'm too afraid of doing something wrong and it comes out wonky! Ciao. A
Great idea with the shirt! It's such a good color, it's great that you were able to refurbish it and keep it!
I also love your scarf! S.
You're daring to have a go with the scissors. Great job!
