14 days to go: In or Out?

I have been thinking about proportions quite a lot recently.
And even more so after Imogen's post about the Fib formula.
But I still can't decide.
Should the t-shirt be tucked in or out?
That is the question.

Skirt and t-shirt - Gap

I am more of a fan of out, but that's b/c my mid-section is giving me proalems lately ;) but on you actually either way looks good!

well, i think both versions look nice on you, and in this case it would mostly depend on in whcih direction you want to take your outfit - tucked in it gets a little more 50s and adds a nice touch of quirky elegance to the outfit, while if you have it outside the skirt it looks more sporty, with a less defined waist. in both looks the proportions look alright. personally i have started to always go for tucked in, as my legs are very short in comparison to my torso, thus, when wearing skirts, tucking in shirts and blouses always elongates my legs and visually shortens my upper body. which is what i want. but i do think that your proportions are very balanced, so both versions look nice on you...

aaah, i'm so torn! the tucking makes you look very well-endowed (a good thing, right?) and your legs a mile long... but the untucked is a little more fun and makes you look a bit more proportional. sorry. i can't help :) very cute, though. both ways.

As a skirt lover, I like how the tucked in highlights the skirt top.

Yep, you look great either way and having the t out, just looks more casual. I might try tucking in today, I have a new skirt with pleating, so I will be asking the same question!

I like it both ways, but untucked looks more casual.

I think tucked in highlights your waist and chest, and makes your legs look longer. Leaving it out is cute and casual. I would say if you don't feel great or 'bloated' (such as me today) leave the tee untucked, and if you want to be flirty and are having a good day, tuck it in. ;)

As has been said several times, you can get away with either look.

I personally prefer the tucked in look. I think it makes your legs look longer, your waist look smaller, your hips look perfectly sized, and is a more pulled together look. Plus there's no issue with wrinkles and lumps like can happen when leaving a shirt untucked over a waistband.

I would probably wear it tucked in most of the time, but would wear it untucked for a very casual day with sandals or flip flops.

I think you look taller with it tucked in, and it does make your chests look nice.

You've no problem with beer-gut or lumpy tummy in either of the pictures though.

Ace!

You can wear it either way, but I think tucked looks more polished and gives you better waist definition.

I'm voting for out, but I do that way too much myself, so am probably biased.

As Tina says, the risk with out is lumps and bumps. I usually have to wear a belt to keep my trousers up and I know it creates a very strange silhouette under my top!

I have this same problem myself and never know which way to wear things .. On you I would vote this in on this instance!!

I vote in... the outfit somehow seems neater (not that its messy the other way!)

I agree that on you IN seems to look more sleek and clean.

Wow - I am blown away by the itme and trouble everyone has taken to consider my question.
I think from now on it will be tucked in with heels and left out with flats.
I am very grateful for everyone's consideration of the debate.
Thank You :)

In the aftermath of the war, irredentist and revanchist nationalism became important in a number of European states. Irredentism and revanchism were strong in Germany because of the significant territorial, colonial, and financial losses incurred by the Treaty of Versailles.vitaminsstone veneer
