93 days to go: A Day of Two Halves: Part Two

While I was at the hairdressers I was leafing through some magazines about aysemmetric dresses and read my favourite fashion columnist, Jess Cartner-Morley's take on the subject.
I liked the idea but obviously couldn't go out and buy one so decided to just tuck the strap down the front of the dress.
As for accessories I used my daughter's newly acquired vintage headband/tiara as inspiration and hunted out my silver shoes, necklace and bangle.
There were lots of prom dresses, full length dresses and cocktail dresses at the ball but mine was the only one strap dress.
As for the ball itself - it was a great night. My husband won a hamper of drinks including champagne while I won three guitar lessons in the raffle.
There was a great Take That tribute band and disco and we danced until 1am.

I wore..
Dress- Coast
Shoes - New Look
Bangle - Asos
Necklace - Drome, Liverpool
Headband - Vintage
Ear-rings - Tesco

Jane, this is so awesome! You look gorgeous, and I love that you wore your dress in such a gutsy way. And the accessories are great. Was your daughter excited that you were wearing the headband she found for herself?

Hot outfit! Did they play "Lady in Red"? You're perfect for that song!

So gorgeous! You look positively radiant. And I love how you tucked the one strap in - it gives the dress a totally different look.
