29 days to go: Question Time

I was leading a PR Workshop at Train 2000 today which is a monthly event I always look forward to.
In Fact by the time I lead the next workshop my year-long challenge will be over.
So maybe it is time to start answering some of the questions you left on my blog yesterday.

Notsupermum wants to know if I will have a mad spending splurge when my year is up?
I wish. Financially things are still very tight and with a soon to be 18-year-old son about to go to university (and three siblings, hopefully, to follow) I can't see that changing anytime soon.
Having said that I really don't feel the urge to buy anything yet. I think the year has helped me see how much stuff I don't wear and how much stuff I buy which doesn't really suit me. I think I will set a budget and be much more discerning.

Shoegal wants to know if I will keep on blogging my dailywear.
Yes. I have made some great friends out there and you have all helped me through some rocky roads along the way this year. However, I will be directing you to a new blog which will still include a dailywear picture but there will be more about my reflection on clothes, my life and the universe.

Heather wants to know - Will I Write A Book?
I have been toying with the idea for a while and I think I have a proposal to put to some smaller publishers. I have learned so much and I would love to share my ideas and findings with other women of a certain age. The working title is: "How To Find Your Style Without Losing A Fortune."

But back to today.
I wore....
Shoes - Clarks
Suit - Next
Shirt - Whistles

I'm so glad you'll still be out there. I've now done a shopping hiatus for 2 months and am starting to see what you mean. It's actually much easier than I thought it would be.

How cool that you're thinking about writing a book inspired by your experiment!

I think, given that you allowed yourself to sell on ebay and buy with the proceeds, that has allayed your need to have a mad spending spree!

I want to read your book on your experiences in prison - that is completely fascinating!

What a journey -- how exciting that you're down to less than a month! You've gotten to be quite a pro at using your own wardrobe and getting new things via selling stuff on eBay. You're really an inspiration; so glad you'll still be blogging after the year is up.
