Wardrobe Clearout Part One

I am starting on phase one of my wardrobe clearout as my year is nearly up.
I have just posted some dresses on eBay here.
I loved all of them when I bought them but they just don't seem right now. I have put a little weight on over the past few years and some don't look so great on me anymore.
There's a DVF dress and a Marc Jacobs dress amongst them and I think I have been hanging on to them just because of the brand.
Others I just don't seem to have the occasion to wear them.
Here's a collage of the first phase of my clearout!

Hi there-good luck with the selling my dear, I took some items to the charity shop yesterday that I no longer wanted. I'm debating whether to sell some things on ebay, but am still undecided!

I've been selling on ebay too, although more shoes and jewelry. May is typically my clean out month! Good luck with your sales.

I lvoe that you have the objectivity to be able to do this. Good luck.

BTW I love the white dress with the frill on the bottom.

So will you do a photo set of what dresses are left in your wardrobe too? I'd love to see that!

Sharon-Rose - my rule is try it on ebay if it doesn't sell then I send it to the charity shop.
Thanks Darla.
Good luck to you too Stacy.
Mervat - I wouldn't have had the objectivity without doing this blog.
Sher - I may well do!
Imogen - what a great idea!

Oh, good for you! I bet it feels liberating to be getting rid of some things. I am 6 months through my challenge (inspired by you, of course) and I feel what a difference it has made to my shopping mentality and how I look at my wardrobe. No matter how lovely or what label something is, if it doesn't look right or you don't wear it...you don't need to keep it!
