107 days to go: Night and Day

I took my youngest son into town as he wanted to use some of his birthday money to buy some football kits.
It was a lovely sunny day and after my morning run I felt great and ready for anything.
Which was just as well as my friend had invited me to her girls only Burlesque-themed evening.
No, I didn't know what to expect either - but it was great fun.
My outfit was by far the most conservative.
We had to create our own names and as my outfit consisted of lace and pink I chose Lacey Pink.
Unfortunately a quick google search uncovered a teenage porn queen with that name!
After the pleasantries our hostess took us through the steps of a carefully choreographed routine to Cabaret.
Not one item of clothing was taken off except for gloves but it was interestiing to learn something of the history of Burlesque and it was hard work.
I was exhausted.

day -
joe brown jeans
matalan top
principles cardigan
clarks shoes

evening
skirt - monsoon
belt - top shop
corset - corset boulevard
shoes - whistles
tights - dorothy perkins
petticoat - petticoat-a-plenty

That sounds like a fun evening... a little bit of learning, a little bit of exercise and a lot of laughter and time with friends.
