27 days to go: A Fashion Crime?

I committed the fatal fashion faux pas when crime writer Martin Edwards visited the jail today.
What was my hideous crime?
I wore exactly the same skirt I had on last time I met Martin here.
By the time I realised this it was too late.
Seriously it was a great day.
I used to work for Martin's firm as a PR consultant and through a shared passion for reading and writing we have stayed in contact.
By day Martin is Head of Employment Law at Mace and Jones Law Firm in Liverpool.
But by night he is a prolific crime novelist and short story writer.
The guys had lots of questions to ask and were more than eager to hear about his approach to the art of crime fiction.

But back to sartorial matters. I have noticed I wear my denim jacket a lot during the summer months and as it happens one of my favourite fashion writers wrote about this recently.
So maybe my crimes against fashion can be forgiven, after all!

Today I wore....
Shoes - Clarks
Skirt - Gap
Vest - Zara
Necklace - Top Shop
Scarf (Sarong) - Tesco
Denim Jacket - Tesco

You wore the same skirt? I would give him an award for remembering, many guys wouldn't. But then again he's a crime writer ;)

I have that skirt! It's actually a part of the first outfit in my fashion blog. I like the way you styled it!

I concur with the ladies- if he remembered that it was exactly the same I am gobsmacked.
Loved the denim jacket tutorial you linked- and feel quite proud that I thrifted an original Levi's jacked recently like the one shown! It's IN AGAIN! Yay! I feel very cool.

I can well believe he would remember if he is a crime writer, he must have the mind of a dectective! Nice skirt by the way!

I concur with the other ladies: he's a dude.

"Skirt? Uh-huh. You wore it when? Uh, okay, that's cool, man. Want a beer?"

I love your denim jacket with that skirt - denim works well in summer, keeps any chill off, but not too hot.

The rules of football were codified in England by the Football Association in 1863 and the name association football was coined to distinguish the game from the other forms of football played at the time, specifically rugby football. The term soccer originated in England, first appearing in the 1880s as an Oxford "-er" abbreviation of the word "associationhosting mexicocandy equipment
