230 days to go: Capsule Wardrobe Challenge, day 2
My red shoes pinched a little yesterday so I am grateful for my flat boots.
It is wet, cold and miserable so I am adding some fun and frivolity into the day with this summer dress (and lots of layers).
Again I am wearing the black vest to pare down the dress and make it appear more like a skirt.
I didn't have enough clothes left for a cardigan but this thick scarf will drape nicely around my shoulders if I get cold.
I wore...
Brown Boots - Clark's
Dress - Wallis
Cream long sleeve t-shirt and brown tights (Marks and Spencer)
Black Vest - Oasis
Scarf - magazine freebie
Gold Hoop Ear-rings - Gift
I will be wearing the same coat and carrying the same bag as yesterday.

Ooh, what a pretty dress! I love the pattern and colour.
You look gorgeous!
You've managed to put together another beautiful outfit -- that also happens to be warm. No easy task! I need to have my husband take some pictures of me in my capsule outfits this week. Problem is, he leaves so early, I'm never dressed at that point.
You have to get a paying job as a stylist, Jane. Can't you style the prison up a bit or something?
Love brown on you, it's much softer than the blacks. You look cozy. Crank up the heat in your house, baby!
What a positively cheerful outfit! I love that print and you really did make the dress look like a skirt -- that's such a nice way to get more looks out of one piece, very clever.
You look totally cute & cozy :)
Love the dress as a skirt! And it's really cute with those boots.
(I deleted my original comment because I called it a skirt, oops!, layered like that it really does look like a skirt - what a good idea)
Thanks everyone. I was working in the prison today and it was sooo cold!
Jane, the dress is lovely. I never seem to be able to layer with dresses like that, it never looks right on me.
It is incredibly cold at the moment isn't it? I hate being so cold!
