284 days to go: A Haiku

It is National Poetry Day today.
It is also the first anniversary of my appointment as writer in residence at the prison.
The theme for this year's National Poetry Day is work.
Below is a haiku I wrote after my first day in the job.

A locked gate echoes
I leave Autumn at the door
Enter a new world

Harvey my dog was determined to get in on the act today.
I wore..
Gap Curvy Jeans
Brown Cowboy Boots
Dress from Primark
Pashmina free with magazine
Long sleeved T=shirt C & C.

I agree too. It is an excellent colour.

Have emailed you at your blueyonder address with pictures of shoes and skirts.

You've created a monster.

I think it was a set of beads that started me on this colour. I can't get enough of it now!
