290 days to go: These boots were made for walking

When I was a baby the Nancy Sinatra song, "These Boots Are Made For Walking" was a huge hit. My dad tells me he used to tuck me under his arm and stomp around the room in time to the music singing the song to me.
Perhaps that's why I've always loved boots and I love these boots. I got them in the Whistles sale marked down from £160.00 to £39.99. They are a soft navy leather with a round toe and a high enough heel to look smart but low enough to walk in them all day.
Today's pose/look is inspired by Jessica at What I Wore.
I found an old cardigan from tesco, a new to me Ebay swap dress from Tu and my purple snakeskin belt from ASOS.
The sunglasses are from Tesco.
Tonight I'm off to my friend Pauline's to catch up on gossip with the girlies.
Hope you have a great Friday night.

I like the belt over the cardi idea.

Darla - Iwasn't sure how it would work on me because the cardigan is chunky but I felt snuggly all day. The only thing is I'm going to have to invest in a slip as I was forever pulling the skirt down which had ridden up over my tights.
Karen - Pewter sounds perfect, I haven't got a belt inthat colour.
Thanks for stopping by Penny.
