69 days to go: Please Don't Make Me Be A Tree

"Please don't make me be a tree."
That is the plea every time I introduce a drama session to the prison.
So far I have never made anyone be a tree but there is always a first time.
Today we have some drama students presenting a workshop which I am looking forward to.
Drama can be a very powerful medium and I am a huge fan of Augusto Boal who sadly died earlier this month.
Boal, a Brazilian playwright was imprisoned and tortured for his political views but went on to develop Theatre of the Oppressed which has helped countless people make sense of their experiences.
Today I am wearing my new dramatic scarf.
I acquired it after selling some of my stuff on eBay.
It is from Joe Brown, one of my favourite stores and can be worn in many ways - here's just a few.

I wore..
Jeans - Gap
Trainers - Nike
t-shirt - Primark
Scarf/Top - Joe Brown
