70 days to go: Stripes and Spots
This skirt is a funny old thing.
It should look great.
It is knee length.
It is linen.
It's from Gap - one of my favourite shops.
It cost £9.99 in the sale several years ago.
It's even lined.
It's a size zero (I know labels lie, but it still feels great to wear a size zero even if the sizing is wrong!)
I never feel right in it.
The waist is a little too high.
The hem a little too flared.
However, every time I wear it
But still I can't bear to part with it.
There's only one solution - pink it up.
Here it is with my favourite colour.
I wore..
Shoes - Monsoon
Skirt - Gap
T-shirt- George
Cardigan - Matalan

I have some clothes like that too... I always feel like I should like them more than I do. The outfit looks cute!
The stripes and spots make it!
I am hooked on them again, they look so fresh and fun :)
I can't see a thing wrong with it! The stripes/spots combo really makes this outfit.
Pinking it up always works on you!
Pink makes everything feel pretty :) I really like your scarf!
I love the concept of your blog Jane - you have some great outfits and fantastic style.
Looks great from here. I'm starting to think I need a striped tee - you've sure been able to do a lot with yours.

What's it like if you put a big belt with it?
It really suits you though. I love the shot of yous sitting down!
I have nominated you for a lovely blog award on

That outfit is adorable, and dare I say the skirt looks perfect! One of my favorite looks on you.
Thanks for your comments.
Imogen I will try it with a belt. I have a big white one which may work.
Having seen the picture maybe it looks better than I think.
I will definitely try it again.
I loathe linen, personally. What I love about this outfit (besides you looking amazing in pink as always) is the polka dots and stripes together - it really gives this outfit a vintage vibe.
