308 days to go: Belt Up

Audi gave me the idea for today's outfit.
I bought this blouse a few years ago in the Whistles sale. I love it but it is a little too tight across the chest.
When I saw how Audi wore her shirt it gave me an idea of how to wear this one again.
I wore....
Lilac shirt: Whistles
Denim skirt: Marks and Spencer
Belt: Asos
Shoes: Clark's
Necklace: Tesco

Great way to rescue the blouse. On another subject, I wish someone would provide me with a clue about all the cropped, gathered above the bust, 3/4 sleeve, dropped shoulder jackets I see in stores. Are they designed to make you look 4 inches shorter and 20 pounds heavier or is that just my imagination? Know anyone who has pulled it off with that look?

As I haven't been shopping I haven't noticed them so I suppose ignorance is bliss.
If I do see them I think I would run a mile.

Am liking that belt over open shirt idea a lot! I have some gap shirts that have suddenly got too tight across the chest area - I was beginning to wonder where the sudden boobs had come from!

What a great idea (and a great way to salvage a blouse!). The wide belt suits it perfectly. I might have to get one of those.
