174 days to go: Green Day

Green is a funny colour for me.
Despite having green eyes and Celtic colouring, most shades of green make me look ill or pale.
This yellower shade of green is the only one that seems to work for me.
I bought this shirt last year from Next with vouchers I had been given for my birthday (which is coming up again very soon!).
The tank top cost £1.00 in the Primark sale last summer.
Another day at my computer writing press releases, book reviews, editing student's work and (my least favourite) writing my quarterly report.
Tomorrow my "baby" goes on holiday with the school for the first time and I am off to buy him some slippers.
I will miss him soooo much!

Shoes - Clark's
Jeans - Gap Curvy
Thermal t-shirt - Autograph
Shirt - Next
Tank Top - Primark
Necklace - Virgin Vie
Belt - Tesco

Nice layering. I really like the long button-up blouse worn under a dropped tank.

Love the layering. I see you too are a fan of the gap curvy jeans, aren't they great?!

Thanks Cat - it is an odd shape worn on its own.
Goober I love Gap Curvy Jeans. I have two pairs and I love the slightly higher waist.

The colour suits you perfectly. Excellent choice.I'd never guessed that the tank top is from Primark. Hope your "baby" will have a brilliant time on his school trip! Ciao. Antonella

I'm sure I could find some other greens that would suit!

For your body proportions, I'd like to see the shirt shortened to around the length of the jean pockets (or your hip bones), as this will elongate your legs.

Cute outfit though

Love Gap Curvys too, but on me, they are still a bit too low to cover my baby pooch. If I could just get one more inch out of them in the front rise, I'd be so golden!

This is a great outfit for you. Yellows and greens are hard to find the right shade but you have done a great job! You can go anywhere in this outfit.

I'm not going to go on about how much I miss Next (which is usually where I go when you wear something from there!). But, I LOVE this outfit. And, it doesn't look like you buttoned the shirt under the tank, which gives it a kind of neat look -- I never would have thought of that!
