194 days to go: KT and the Sunshine Band

KT blogged about wearing yellow yesterday and as there is a distinct lack of sunshine around it inspired me to create some of my own.
I acquired yellow shoes through my eBay swaps after reading about Kasmira's shoes.
By this time I was feeling a little bolder so instead of sticking to the usual black and tan I felt brave enough to try some yellow.
Quite rightly Karen pointed out that it didn't look quite right as I needed to balance out the yellow which I have done today with this scarf.

Jeans - Gap Curvy
Shoes - eBay
Black shirt (was white but now dyed) Boden
Black Cashmere Sweater - Tesco

Wow, you look great in yellow! You should wear it more.

Love the yellow shoes!

I agree, yellow is good. FACT: it also stimulates the intellect, so good for wearing to work.

Way to let a little ray of sunshine in!

Yellow really suits you and it looks much better balanced with the scarf.

Love the whole outfit! Cozy and polished at the same time. And those shoes? Fabulous!

I like the shoes with this outfit better than the dress and Robert Downey Jr. scarf. The way the yellow peaks out under the pants appeals to me. The sunshine scarf pulls it together nicely.

P.S. I embarked on the Wardrobe Capsule Challenge in your absence. It was a great way to pack lightly for a 5-day vacation.

I love the yellow on you -- it looks so cheery! I'm not sure I could pull off yellow with my coloring, though. But, a little injection of color (yellow or otherwise) would do my wardrobe some good at this point in the winter season... :)

The yellow does look like a dab of sunshine. If it stimulates the intellect as well (as Heather says) then maybe I should invest in some yellow myself. I have been in a daze lately (to put it kindly).

Now you've gotten it right, Jane. See how much better it looks to use a brighter yellow on top too?
