128 and 127 days to go:Weekend Witters About Water

A weekend of football matches, shopping and cleaning which called for quick, easy and colourful.
On Saturday I wore my Gap Jeans with the blue dress, Ugg boots and red Primark t-shirt.
On Sunday I wore the same jeans with the same red Primark top, Zara blouse and boots with M and Co black cardigan.
We recently got rid of our second car to save some money and it has encouraged me to get on my bike. If the journey is two miles or under now I try and use my bike. I love cycling and don't mind at all unless it is raining.
I am not a great fan of water especially as the rain on Tuesday got into my camera which means some of the photos are a little hazy.
Come to think of it I hate flying over water, swimming (unless it is warm water or there is a warm sun around), and the thought of a cruise fills me with horror.
I don't even like drinking water much either.
The only water I enjoy is the hot stream of a shower in the morning or after a run.
Is there a water phobia?

Love the outfits for this weekend. I think its wonderful that your riding your bike. I wish I could. I live way too far out from everything.

I checked online to see how many hours your ahead of us and it also showed the temp. I didnt realize how cold it is in London.(I think thats where you are) For some reason I never pictured it cold. Damp and raining but not cold. I would be living in those ugg boots. I would never take them off. LOL I probably dislike the cold as much as you dislike the water.

Aquaphobia is an abnormal and persistent fear of water. :-)

I really like the Zara blouse, it suits you very well.

I always love you in red -- two great outfits, you look great :)

I love looking at at the water, a beach side cottage is a great vacation in my book, tho I'm not a sun worshipper so prefer to go a little off season. However, like you, a cruise would fill me w/horror as well...you couldn't pay me to go on one!

Hi Jane: There must be a water phobia. What would that be--hydrophobia?

I don't like swimming in water over my head--especially in a lake. Especially a lake with fish and seaweed.

Anyway, I love what you did with the two outfits this weekend. They look so different, even having started with the same jeans and shirt. I also like the dress-over jeans look (well, a short dress).

Finally I wanted to say thanks for the comment you left on my black blog with nothing on it, last week. I need to find out how to delete that blog because it was just a test to help blogger figure out why my posts all went away. As you found, my real blog is the Blue Kimono, and I've been able to restore a lot of my lost posts. Anyway, thanks for your kind words.

I'm enjoying your year long challenge a lot. It's inspiring.

Hi Jane, I'd never dare to wear a dress over jeans but you look fantastic! I don't like rain much unless I'm inside and I can watch it from the warmth. I like swimming but I can't stand the clorine, so I do prefer the warm seaside! Unfortunately I do not drink enough water. mainly because the cold weather does not make me thirsty. You would never catch me on a cruise, but I love sailing boats...Have a nice week. Ciao. Antonella

Your red top is really versatile and always looks great.

I love water - except the kind that falls from the sky. I'm kind of done with that for now.

I am happy to see you wear purple and red together. It has been claimed by the Red Hat Society for far too long.

My mother refuses to wear purple, because she thinks of it as an "old lady" color. I heartily disagree! Thanks for proving her wrong.

After living through a 12 year drought that is still going, and being constantly under the threat of soon having no water, I LOVE WATER!
